Cruise On Carnival Breeze

Are you ready for Carnival Breeze?

Carnival Breeze is a 10/10! She was so beautiful, fun and exciting from all the workers to the on board activities. It was non stop FUN & EATING! Definitely recommend this one. This is a review from a client. Think you are ready to sail? Let's look at Carnival Breeze. Overall, Carnival Breeze seems to be pretty good if you fun with the crowd. Just remember that it is a mega-fun ship and there's a lot of activities and food choices you can have so please enjoy. Didn’t hear many people complaining about the food and that's good! Stateroom seems to be pretty tasteful with Caribbean decor.

I know many prefer and praise their vacation on the Breeze, popular so to speak. You will always get pro’s and con’s, but you must compare apples to apples so let's talk about one, not many.

Delicious Restaurants On Board Carnival Breeze

Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que
Guy’s Burger Joint
Blue Iguana Cantina
Pizza Pirate
Cucina del Capitano
Seafood Shack
Bonsai Sushi
Steakhouse
Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast
The Chef’s Table

The layout of the ship is well done. You'll never feel that there were over 3600+ people onboard. The shows were good and the staff is like most cruise ships, always trying to please everyone on board. The food at the dining room and buffets were good. Guys Burger joint is a must taste and The Pig and Anchor are very good. I highly recommend Cucina del Capitano, may have additional cost but definitely worth it.

You can experience a variety of delicious dining options on board. RedFrog Rum Bar® and BlueIguana Cantina™ offer island-inspired drinks and south-of-the-border taco goodness. Bonsai Sushi™ showcases expertly-prepared sushi dishes, and Guy's Burger Joint™ features hot-off-the-grill burgers designed by celebrity chef Guy Fieri.

Kids can have a blast on the 320-foot-long Twister Waterslide at Carnival WaterWorks, as well as participate in supervised youth programs like Camp Ocean, Circle 'C', and Club O2. For adults looking to relax, there's the Serenity Adults-Only Retreat and the Cloud 9 Spa for some pampering.Teens will enjoy the ship as would the adults who love fun!

ONBOARD ACTIVITIES

Cloud 9 Spa
Waterworks
Alchemy Bar
Serenity Adult Only Retreat
Camp Ocean
Seuss At Sea
Playlist Production

Meet some long-time cruisers and first-time cruiser who really enjoyed it too. I recommend the Blue Iguana if you love Tacos – a lot of cruisers rave about their tacos - morning, noon or night were amazing!

Carnival Breeze offers an array of exciting activities and delicious dining options to keep guests entertained. From the SportSquare™ to the mouth-watering Cucina del Capitano®, there's something for everyone to enjoy on this ship. Whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, Carnival Breeze is sure to keep the fun blazing throughout your journey. Large and spacious. Activities for all age levels and service was exceptional. Lots and lots to do onboard. Food on board was great. I do highly recommend the main dining room as your table is always waiting for you and this really helps when the lido deck buffets are packed!

Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse offers premium cuts of steak cooked to your liking, along with gourmet appetizers and wine pairings. If you're in the mood for something a little more casual, you can visit Pizza Pirate for a hot slice, the Carnival Deli for a classic deli sandwich, or Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse™ for some signature Guy Fieri BBQ. There's no shortage of delicious dining options on this ship!

Carnival Breeze's staterooms and public spaces are designed with a vibrant tropical décor and contemporary furnishings, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that will make you feel like you're in the Caribbean. So if you notice a bit of the outdoors inside, don't be surprised - it's all part of the ship's immersive experience.

Carnival Breeze offers a variety of activities and experiences for adults looking to unwind and have some fun. From the Serenity Adults-Only Retreat to the Cloud 9 Spa, there are plenty of opportunities for relaxation and pampering. For those looking to keep the party going, there's Playlist Productions, Liquid Nightclub, and the Punchliner Comedy Club. And if you're in the mood for a unique cocktail, the Alchemy Bar has you covered. Additionally, the ship's tropical décor and contemporary furnishings will transport you to a blissful Caribbean setting. So whether you want to kick back and do nothing or dance the night away, Carnival Breeze has something for everyone.

CARIBBEAN BREEZES

CARIBBEAN BREEZES

This is just what you need before Christmas: a zero-stress adventure and a suntan, plus a few days for spa and poolside pampering. How is that?

Cozumel is where turquoise waters, palm lined beaches, and gorgeous reefs attract divers, snorkelers, and everyone who loves to fish, boat or simply soak up the peaceful, laid-back atmosphere.

Costa Maya is the gateway to the less-traveled Mayan ruins of Chacchoben and Kohunlich. While less fully excavated than Tulum and Uxmal, these sites will nonetheless make you appreciate the sophisticated Mayans, so far ahead of their time.

In Santo Tomas de Castilla you’ll visit a World Heritage Mayan site dating back to 200 AD, or fit in some high-quality eco-touring in Las Escobas Spring and Rio Dulce National Park.

While in George Town, don’t miss spectacular Seven Mile Beach, one of the most beautiful stretches of sand in the Caribbean. You might also like a visit to Stingray City where the docile creatures like to be fed and petted.

You’ve still got time to start (or finish) your holiday shopping at Key West, the most famous of the Florida Keys off the coast of Miami, where you’ll have a full day to stroll the shops and galleries.

18 Night Indian Ocean Adventure Voyage

Indian Ocean Adventure 2018

Let’s begin with the first step - imagine modern architecture, incredibly clean, and one of the safest cities in the world! Where could this be? It is a small country in Asia. But, hey, we are going on a cruise. How about visiting 8 cities or 7 countries? I would love to get on an Indian Adventure!

Arrive a day ahead and be rested. Enjoy the surroundings while waiting for the big cruise of excitement. It is always a great thing to be early for a relaxing wait. After all, you are having a vacation so why not make the most of it? Explore, experience and enjoy every moment of it! Here’s a snippet of each places to visit for Indian Adventure 2018. Although it applies more on a tour packages, nevertheless, it is a journey we all can take in many different ways.

Singapore

A country like Singapore can be toured in a day! I have been there and stayed three days. Three days is right but a day is works too! A day’s tour to enjoy the modern architecture, the cleanliness and safe too! People do speak English and Chinese, an advantage to those from English speaking countries when here for a visit.

Famous Sentosa island is a great start where you’ll visit Merlion Tower and Tiger Sky Tower for a panoramic view of the island! Experience central Singapore during the vibrant evening hours. Visit a traditional Chinese medical hall, walk through the bustling Night Market and go shopping!

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

This is the destination I was going to at one point but never did make it, except my luggage! And my luggage had a valuable experience staying in the hotels for my tour package. The only thing that’s missing are pictures. “Grin” I wasn’t there…
After modern architecture, experience Kuala Lumpur, a jungle until the 19th century but today an affluent metropolis. It’s home of the iconic 88-story Petronas Towers.  Love caves? Explore Batu Caves, a limestone hill with several caves to experience.

Adding to the adventure is stopping at George Town. A colorful and multicultural city, the capital of the Malaysian island of Penang known for its British colonial buildings, Chinese shophouses and mosques. Part of George Town is a modern city with skyscrapers and shopping malls for those who love shopping. If time allows, hiking can be a clever way to enjoy the overlooking scene. After a tiring hike, come to enjoy Malaysian stir fry food at stalls you can see abundant by road sides. Penang is also known for being "food paradise" in the region, offering a diverse and exotic mix of Malay, Indian, Chinese and western cuisine. I smell “hawker food" just now.

Phuket Thailand

Taste the beauty of Phuket’s beaches with the many high-end seaside resorts, spas and restaurants! Time to lower our feet and enjoy the clear waters. Phuket City, the capital, has old shophouses and busy markets to stroll as well.

Being Thailand’s largest island, Phuket is a beautiful rainforest and mountainous with Forest, rubber, and palm oil plantations cover 60 percent of the island.

After all, Thai words, "phu" (mountain) of "ket" (jewel) isn’t it?

Myanmar

Golden pagodas, colonial-era buildings, shop houses and jazz-age mansions waits in Yangon in Myanmar. Yangon is the country's largest city. It is home to bustling markets, numerous parks and lakes, and the towering, gilded Shwedagon Pagoda and also known as the Great Dagon Pagoda and the Golden Pagoda, which contains Buddhist relics and dominating the Yangon skyline you’ll never miss it!

Myanmar (formerly Burma) is one of the Southeast Asian nations of more than 100 ethnic groups, bordering India, Bangladesh, China, Laos and Thailand.

Colombo, Sri Lanka

Then it’s on to the spice island of Sri Lanka, where cinnamon and clove gardens make the air amazing, and temples honor the ground where Buddha walked. Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage where these charming animals are not orphans at all, but wander in family groups. There are different activities to participate like Milk Feeding, Bathing and Fruit Feeding. Such an amazing experience to bath and feed an elephant! It is located at Pinnawala village, 13 km northeast of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka, with Its diverse landscapes range from rainforest and arid plains to highlands and sandy beaches is famed for its ancient Buddhist ruins; with its fortress and murals. Fascinating Sri Lanka!

Kochi, India

Kochi has been a port since 1341, when a flood carved out its harbor and opened it to Arab, Chinese and European merchants. Sites reflecting those influences include Fort Kochi, a settlement with tiled expatriate cottages and various houses of worship. Cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, typical of Kochi, have been in use for centuries.

From Kochi, you can take an optional plane ride for an overnight at the Taj Mahal, a must on anyone’s bucket list, captivating with a hint of religion. Wander this crazy, state-of-the-art city past colorful temples, along Mumbai’s Chowpatty Beach, into restaurants with sizzling crab, and above adjoining shopping centers.

Or get a glimpse into Kochi’s rich history and heritage, showcasing the mixed Dutch, Portuguese, British and Jewish influences that make the city unique. Visit some of the most popular attractions in Kochi including the Chinese Fishing Nets, Fort Cochin, Mattancherry, St. Francis Church, Dutch Cemetery, Jewish Synagogue, and Dutch Palace.

Explore the quaint streets of this city on foot. Visit Fort Kochi’s seaside promenade to get a glimpse of daily life in Kochi. Stop by the St. Francis Church, one of India’s oldest European churches, built by the Portuguese Franciscan Friars.

Must try vada pao; a gigantic bun with potato cutlet filling. Vada pao is an essential rite of passage in Mumbai. The topping is extremely spicy, enjoy it cautiously. Visit white sand Chowpatty Beach and get ready to be amuse; watching monkeys dancing on the beach. One can also find snake-charmers who entertain the crowds with their antics and fortune-tellers too!
Many tourists come to experience camel and horse rides here and for those who love yoga, this beach is a perfect place to perform Yoga 'Asanas', jogging and for the whole family.

Dubai

Dubai has emerged as a global city and business hub of the Middle East. Foodies will delight in eating authentic global cuisine from traditional “maqluba” a casserole with rice, lamb or chicken, and eggplant which is commonly served in Bedouin homes to famed chef Jamie Oliver’s Italian restaurant in the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Then head to a dance temple or a cocktail cavern for an evening of intrigue.

Dubai is known for luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture and a lively nightlife scene. Tall tower Burj Khalifa, dominates the skyscraper-filled skyline. At its foot lies Dubai Fountain, with jets and lights choreographed to music. On artificial islands just offshore is Atlantis, The Palm, a resort with water and marine-animal parks.

And now back to reality, I will reminisce all these beautiful memories again.

Why?
A passport is an identification of you as a citizen of your country. Simple. When traveling out of the country, bring a passport for your safety and avoid entry inconveniences.
A family of six that are planning a 4 day Disney cruise toBahamas/Castaway Cay with two little one ages 5 and 7.  Each have different needs in order to travel. The little ones don’t need a passport, but the grandparents who are going but don’t have passports.
One says they can get a “Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative, another says they can travel with a certified Birth Certificate. Which one is best?
For your security and safety, passports are recommended for everyone. Passports can be use as ID and proof of your citizenship. And in times of missing the ship for whatever reason, a passport may be needed.
If there is a need to fly back to the USA, it would be difficult reentering US without a passport. The passport may seem the only way to enter USA. In fact, while checking in the departure terminal for travelers, the airlines will request a passport to check in your baggage and before allowing a passenger to depart. So, I say, a passport is necessary.
Current Law

However, current law permits USA citizens, cruising from the USA, returning to the USA to travel with only an original Birth Certificate and a State Photo ID.
Children are also required to have Birth Certificate, if they have a school photo ID, it is helpful or a State Photo ID (Drivers License). If the “little ones” or are 16 or 17 years old, they also need a state-issued photo ID, even though they are not technically adults.
One can cruise with no passport, with luck I'd say. Cross my fingers, as long as nothing happens that would require you to show a passport.  I did just that at one time and now realized it was stupid of me not to take my passport with me on a cruise.
However, I would be scared to travel with elders, healthy they may be, for medical reasons. There was incident while on Disney cruise that an older woman developed pneumonia and thought she would have to debark at a port and fly home. In a case like this, a passport is required to enter USA. Luckily, she ended up not having to fly. But my point is  - anything can happen!
It only takes 6 weeks to process, if planning a Disney cruise, it's probably further out, so there is time to start the process to get a passport. It can even be expedited. Passports are not as much work as people think it to be!
For safety, get a passport before traveling.
